I am an interdisciplinary scholar in the Department of Human Ecology in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Davis, researching the intersections of social and environmental justice, with an emphasis on feminist theories and methods.
My research areas include studying environmental justice, gender inequality, and health disparities in urban, rural, and disaster contexts. I have three major lines of inquiry in my research program: (1) studying environmental injustices, risks and hazards; (2) advancing climate adaptation; and (3) investigating health disparities related to resilience, stress, vulnerability, and violence.
